Founder and CEO of People Group, Anupam Mittal is also the Founder of Shaadi.com and currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer CEO of the country. Along with business, Anupam has also invested in Bollywood films and is producer of film Flavors and 99. Currently he is one of the Sharks aka investors at Sony LIV business reality show Shark Tank India.[1]

Biography

Anupam Mittal was born on 23 December 1971[2] to Gopal Krishna Mittal and Bhagwati Devi Mittal and is currently residing in the Financial Capital of India[3]. He is an alumnus of Boston College, Massachusetts, United States. Anupam Mittal did a major in Operations and Strategic Management from 1994 to 1997.[4]

Career

In July 2015, to focus on global expansion and new areas of business, Mittal stepped down as CEO from online matrimonial portal Shaadi.com.[5]

In March 2016, Mittal started working as CEO of Shaadi.com after around a decade of being an investor majorly in start-up companies.[6]

In December 2021, he is one of the investors or "sharks" in an Indian business reality television series Shark Tank India.[7][8][9][10]

In July 2015, Mittal had invested in around 200 start-up companies such as Interactive Avenues, Ola Cabs, Druva, Sapience Analytics, Pretty Secrets, Cafe Zoe, Peel Works, TaxSpanner, Fab Hotels, Ketto, Prop Tiger, BigBasket, FarEye, Lets Venture and more.[11]
