Water Conservation

[edit]

Lately I've been hearing alot of shit about people having long arse showers- I mean, come on, really, what's so hard about turning the tap on for a few seconds (just to get wet) and then turning it off, then soaping up, and then finally turning the tap on for about 1/2 a minute (just to wash off the soap) - I mean, the amount of water one uses in a shower makes no difference to how clean and hygenic thay person is...all in all, a shower shouldn't be more than 2.5 minutes (that's just personal preference) - 2.5 minutes of water is still alot of water, and I feel bad about using that much (especially when you hear about all those people in droughts...also I remember back in high school when I was studying Japanese, we learned about how japanese have some supposedly "set in stone" system that they follow, it sounded pretty cool) but when you hear about all those other people having longer showers than your self, then you can't help but feel that your better than them :)

I remember read a text on a survey done on "why people had long showers", and it was found that the majority was having long showers because because of the hot water - it has been scientifically proven that "hair loss" is a symptom of "hot water" showers (primarily when the hot water is applied directly to the top area of ones head).
