The Institute of Apparel Management commonly known as IAM, is an educational institute located in Chittagong city of Bangladesh. This institute provides necessary training to create skilled human resources for the readymade garment industry.[1][2]
History
[edit]The Institute of Apparel Management is a non-profit educational institute established in 2016. Since its inception, the institute has been imparting training on various subjects to enhance the skills of mid-level management in the apparel industry.[3][4][5]
IAM works in collaboration with National Skill Development Authority (NSDA) recognized "Skills Training Providers" (STP)[6] and local and international organizations such as Skills For Employment Investment Program (SEIP), Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA).
Apart from regular courses[7], Institute of Apparel Management is providing free training [8] SEIP-BGMEA project.[9]
