The Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) is a self-regulatory organization that oversees all investment dealers and trading activity on debt and equity marketplaces in Canada. It is recognized as a self-regulatory organization under the securities legislation of most Canadian provinces. In some provinces, it has been authorized by the securities regulators to register its member firms or their representatives under securities legislation.
