Miss Venezuela 1978 was the 25th Miss Venezuela pageant, televised live by Venevisión. It was held at the Club de Sub-Oficiales de las Fuerzas Armadas in Caracas, Venezuela on April 28, 1978.

At the end of the event, Cristal Montañez of Departamento Vargas crowned Marisol Alfonzo of Guárico as Miss Venezuela 1978. She represented Venezuela at the Miss Universe 1978 pageant.

This was the last Miss Venezuela pageant that was broadcast on TV monochrome by Venevisión, as the television broadcasts switched to color from the following year onward.
