This is a rough list of the type of news stories we will post or won't post that otherwise aren't documented at ITNR. This is not to be taken as absolutes; a story that would meet a "won't post" below may be posted in unusual circumstances. These are meant to help guide new editors to know what stories to avoid, and to help avoid excess discussion of ITNC of past cases. In all cases, the article quality still must be judged alongside the newsworthiness of the topic.

Admission of guilt or settlement with high-value fines/settlement amounts in civil cases
Filing or onset of lawsuits against sitting or former heads of states
Presentation of decisions of groundbreaking cases from a nation's highest court
Filing or onset of lawsuits otherwise
Political
Accusations without trial/lawsuit made between political opponents/agencies
Business
Announcement of large-valued business deals agreed by all parties (pending regulatory approval)
Cancellation of such large-value business deals
Completion of merger/acquisition following an announced business deal
