Dr Arun Kumar Choudhury (January 6, 1923 - September 6, 1987), was the Founding Head^[1] of Department of Computer Science and Engineering^[2] at University of Calcutta. He is a pioneer in the Analog Computing,^[3] since 1950's and was conferred the honorary title of Acharya. A.K. Choudhury Memorial Lecture^[4] are arranged at various universities to celebrate his contributions.^[5]
