The GWU Extreme Decisions Group is the newest addition to ongoing think tank projects run by the George Washington University. Taking its name from the Extreme Decisions class, where its members first met in late August. 2012, this group focuses on conducting research, publishing article critiques, engaging in in-class and virtual conferences, and solving issues regarding extreme decision making of large corporations. This semester, the team focuses on analyzing the decision making process of Microsoft's Bing and Google. The GWU Extreme Decisions Group is currently chaired by Hillary Hecht, a senior student majoring in Extreme Decisions. Other group members were selected based on their current research projects and focus. It includes Maggie Nguyen, Bianta Timiraos, Joy Wellborn, Samuel Goodman, Sean Lynch and Marek Slavicky - all Honors students at GWU.
