My name is Rich Brown and I'm a technology leader and amateur photographer currently living in Los Angeles, California. I have been contributing in my own small way to Wikipedia since January 2007 under the name of Live2evolve (talk·contribs). The name live2evolve came from thoughts that we need to fully live and experience as much as possible during our lives for us to evolve as individuals and collectively as a society.
I ran the "Living Out Loud" blog catered to the LGBT community, which chronicled my adventures of traveling around the world and detailed my thoughts on then-current events, pop culture and liberalism. I initially launched the blog as a series of writings starting in 1996 and it continued on for 13 years before I shut it down in 2009 to focus more on my career.
I focus predominantly on cityscape and landscape photography but I also enjoy taking candid photos of people out in the world as part of an overall street photography topic. While I enjoy viewing portrait photography, I've found it to be completely uninteresting to me as a photographer.
