Doug Lunn (born 1954 [1], died February 12, 2017) was a progressive rock & jazz fusion bassist.

Musical Career

Doug's sole project as a leader is The Doug Lunn Project, released in 2011. The album features fellow Zappa alums Vinnie Colaiuta and Mike Keneally and well as Peter Maunu, Dimitris Mahlis and George Bernardo [5]

Personal Life

Doug was married to Vida Vierra. They have one daughter, Donnie. [6] Doug passed away after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. [7] Guitarist Mike Keneally wrote a testimonial on his web page. [8]
