Gure Esku (Basque: In our hands), formerly known as Gure Esku Dago (Basque: It is in our hands) until it changed its name in 2019, is a citizen's initiative in favour of the right to self-determination of the Basque Country.[1] Gure Esku Dago was presented in the city of Irun in 2013[2], and has since organized various initiatives, such as human chains in favor of Basque self-determination in 2014 and 2018, in which 150,000-200,000 people participated, with the explicit support of the majority of the Basque political parties and trade unions.[3][4][5]
