Jing Alyse Chung Kendall (born February 26 1982) is a Chinese-Scottish singer, actress, model, TV presenter and amateurish wrestler. She is married to Kenneth Kendall's grandson, Allen. She's resides Isle of Wight.
Bio
[edit]Jing was born in Greenock to a British mother Susan Aprils and Chinese father Yan Chung.
Acting career
[edit]Jing first appear in the 1995 BBC drama "Midnight Owls". In 1996 she took part in the semi-documentary television film "Berga" next to Ashley Jensen. Her next roles was in BBC television programmes such as "Two Fat Ladies", "This Morning with Richard Not Judy, "Cash in the Attic", "Dossa and Joe" and "Time Commanders".
Until 2006, she never been a professional actress but she had one main role in "Stella Street". In 2006 she got her biggest role ever in the American soap opera "Santa Monica", which was very successful. Later on she even acted as a secondary character in "October Road". She will be playing in the 2008 film "What Happens in Vegas..." next to Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz.
Singing career
[edit]Jing's first single released on 1998 called "By My Side". It was a bubblegum pop entry which was quite popoular these days. Since she was already a celebrity in United Kingdom, it reached the fourth position in their chart. Next singles were "Baby Baby" and "Give Me One Reason", all from the album "Alsye". Her next two albums, "Candies" and "Blooper" (released in 1999 and 2000 respectively) were a huge failure.
She changed genre in 2003, releasing "Boom-Ba-Boom", a soft rock album. The main single was "Someday" that even came first in the British chart. It was the opening theme for the teen drama series, "Runaway Love", starring Sam Robertson.
Her last album so far, called "Intelligence", released in 2007 in memory of Randy VanWarmer. About 50 percentages of the Album's incomes were donated for NASA and space science, one of VanWarmer's biggest loves. The album is Chung's best-selling album so far, and its main single "In Space" came first in more than five charts, icluding Australia and United Kingdom.
Personal life
[edit]Since 2000, Jing was dating Randy VanWarmer that was older than her in 27 years. After 4 years of happy relationship, he passed away of leukemia. He bequeathed 70 percentage of his fortune to her. After VanWarmer's death, the tabloids announced that Jing is dating former boy band singer Lee Ryan. It was true, but they split up in 2006.
In 2007 she started dating Allen Kendall, Kenneth Kendall's grandson. They married in September 2007.
