Hi there, I'm a long time reader, but new to editing and am still learning the ropes with the help of a couple instruction manuals. Feel welcome to comment on my talk page. Thanks! JamesClyde (talk) 12:28, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
Having researched and done work on energy policy in the past, I created this account with the interest of primarily editing energy-related articles. Before creating this account I took time to go over and familiarize myself with Wikipedia’s ethos and policies and with the consideration of my background, will ensure to strictly follow Wikipedia’s policies concerning neutral point of view. I would like to mention that my current employer works with clients in the energy industry and I will accordingly be particularly sensitive to any potential conflict of interest issues when editing related articles. In order to best adhere to the recommendations laid out in Wikipedia’s conflict of interest guideline, I will make sure to ask for a second (or third) opinion from other more experienced editors regarding any more substantive changes that I seek to be made. I feel that my background and understanding of these often complex and intricate topics will be a net benefit here, and I welcome any outside input and constructive suggestions on my participation. Thanks for your time! JamesClyde (talk) 18:46, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
