Five steps to acquiring free images
Ten things you may not know about images on Wikipedia
Before adding an image to an article:
[edit]
- Review this page of a photo taken by User:Jonathunder, and uploaded for use in the article Merchants National Bank (see Image page here: [1]).
- Note 1. Before you add an image to an article, you should view the image description page to identify the copyright status of the image and make sure the copyright status of the image is clearly stated. It is preferred that you use one of the Wikipedia:Image copyright tags, as appropriate.
- Note 2. Please upload the highest resolution image possible, but keep the file size under 20 megabytes. See: Uploading images for uploading instructions.
