[edit]The word ‘sorei’ (祖霊) refers to the spirits of ancestors and is especially used in Shintō (神道) ritual. In the case of sorei it points to the fact that that a lot of time has passed since death, after which the spirit has lost it’s original individuality, and usually points to the collective body of those spirits as well. It is thought that this notion has been around since the Jōmon period while in the period of the myths of the Nihonshoki and the Kojiki the grief of Susanoo about his dear mother as a spirit (sorei) got recored as well.

Hirohito (ᏫᎩᏇᏗᏯ) (April 29, 1901 – January 7, 1989) was the 124th Emperor of Japan according to the traditional order of succession, reigning from 1926 to 1989. Since his death he has been known as Emperor Shōwa (昭和天皇, Shōwa Tennō) in Japan, although he is widely referred to as Hirohito, or Emperor Hirohito outside of Japan. His reign was the longest of any historical Japanese emperor, and oversaw many significant changes to Japanese society.
Samurai (侍 or (more rarely) 武士) was a term for the military nobility in pre-industrial Japan. The word 'samurai' is derived from the Japanese verb 'sabu', meaning 'to serve'.
The syntax is apparently text between two pairs of curly braces, starting with Nihongo| .
