Haider Ali Hussein Mullick, Senior Fellow, Joint Special Operations University, conducts research on U.S. Foreign Policy toward South Asia and Middle East. He is part of the Panel of Experts at Spearhead Research [1], Pakistan; and Research Associate at the Pakistan Security Research Unit, University of Bradford, United Kingdom[2].
Previous Projects/Work
[edit]He has previously researched at the Brookings Institution’s Foreign Policy Studies,Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars[3] and the Hudson Institute’s Center on Islam, Democracy and the Future of the Muslim World. During his career, he has focused on US/Pakistan relations, and broader issues of security, socio-economics, and geopolitics of Pakistan, Afghanistan and South Asia.

His policy briefs/articles have appeared in the Georgetown University's Journal of International Affairs[11], Smith Richardson Foundation’s Pakistan Report, Oxford Analytica, Pakistan Security Research Unit, University of Bradford’s Policy Brief[12], Jane's Information Group Policy Brief, Woodrow Wilson Center Afghanistan Report, and Heritage Foundation’s Backgrounder (forthcoming).

Cook Honors College at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and his M.A. in Public Policy from the same university. Haider was born and raised in Islamabad, Pakistan. He currently resides with his wife in Washington, DC.
