Gregg Allen

Gregg Allen is a professional broadcaster / musician from North Eastern Ohio. Born in the small city of Warren Ohio, Gregg Allen studied music at the Warren Western Reserve High School, Gregg graduated in 1983 and attended 2 years at the Ohio State University. Leaving Ohio State after 2 years of studies to pursue music with the musical group "Life" from American Entertainment Productions out of Columbus Ohio. After 2 years on the road with American Entertainment, Gregg returned home where he married Margaret Sardich. After several years in the private work force, Gregg joined country singer Karli Whetstone as lead guitar player and band leader, Gregg continued to play with the Karli Whetstone band for 7 years. During those years with the Karli Whetstone band, Gregg joined K-105 and AM600 WSOM as a board operator and air talent, working with broadcasting hall of famer's, Johnny Kay & Dick Thompson, and broadcasting great Gary Rhamy. Gregg continued to work for AM600 WSOM for 2 years, at the end of those yeas he received a call from WANR 1570AM where Gregg took the job as the morning show host. Currently Gregg Allen is an Afternoon Air Talent for FREQ 107 WEXC and Classic Hits 1570 WANR, Gregg also is the acting Program Director for FREQ 1540 WRTK. Gregg still plays bass guitar for the Warren local band Water Rocket, and has performed with two time Grammy nominee Del Sinchak.
