I am a management and technology consultant based in Queensland, Australia. I have consulting practice, Thermodyne Technologies - check out my website for more information.

While I grew up on a wheat farm on the Darling Downs, adult life started with a Mechanical Engineering degree and I picked some management and training qualifications in later years. My consulting roles have been quite diverse, including various asset management, audit, IT and project management assignments, across a range of industries including oil and gas, water and electricity generation and distribution.

For several years now, I have worked with universities and the electricity industry in Queensland on addressing the skills shortage. This work culminated in a collaborative venture between three universities to develop and deliver a Masters Program in Power Generation. I am still involved in the delivery and on-going development of a number of the courses on behalf of the universities. One of the core courses, Introduction To Power Plant, was developed and is facilitated by me under contract with QUT. I've taught over 150 graduates in this course alone. I also work with UQ and CQU in this context.

Right now, I am assisting a national consulting group (with extensive experience in Defence and Rail) penetrate the energy sector.

I would like to generate some support for a "Power Generation Body of Knowledge" but I don't know enough about Wikipedia to make that work. Any suggestions? In the meantime, here are some links...
