[edit]

Hello, Global-Cityzen. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of Suncorp Super Netball venues, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Launceston (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

An article you recently created, 2019–20 Melbourne City W-League season, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 06:30, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@CASSIOPEIA: The page has been updated with both several reliable sources regarding new player signings and one independent source, with more to come. Hopefully that will suffice for now and you'll quickly restore the page. Global-Cityzen (talk) 08:04, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Global-Cityzen, G'day. The Guardian source is good but the other are affiliated with the subject as such the sources are not indepdendent. Once you could find two more independent, reliable sources, please add them in and let me know and I will review it. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 08:34, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@CASSIOPEIA: There's an awful lot of grumbling I could engage in about use of "official" sources on similar articles on wikipedia, but nonetheless I've replaced them with independent sources. Global-Cityzen (talk) 08:51, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Global-Cityzen, non independent sources would be used in an article; however, they can not used to contribute for notability requirements. Thank you for adding the sources. Reviewed and the page is in the main space now. thank you for your contribution. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 09:07, 24 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Collingwood Magpies Netball Logo.png

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Collingwood Magpies Netball Logo.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. — JJMC89(T·C) 03:46, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

On 12 May 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article 2021 AFL Women's Grand Final, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Kate Lutkins (pictured), the best on ground at the this year's Aussie Rules Football Women's Grand Final, played with a painful foot injury that required surgery? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/2021 AFL Women's Grand Final. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, 2021 AFL Women's Grand Final), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Party colours - Members of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly, 2019–2023

[edit]

I have undone your change to the party colours Members of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly, 2019–2023 because the consistent approach where a person has changed party during a term has been to use the colour of the party when elected. There is currently a discussion at Talk:Members of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly, 2019–2023#Party Colours seeking to find consensus as to whether that approach should change and you are welcome to contribute to that discussion. --Find bruce (talk) 06:23, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

2023 WAFL season moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, 2023 WAFL season, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 09:58, 28 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on 2021 NAB League season requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
  • disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
  • is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 22:32, 22 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
