From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I contribute primarily to articles relating to fossil fishes, with a particular interest in extinct holocephs. My current projects consist of expanding stub and start-class articles, as well as creating articles for those that do not yet have them (a lot of them, including some pretty significant ones). I've temporarily diverted my extinct fish attention to writing and (hopefully) publishing an actual paper, so I'm on a slight Wiki-writing hiatus. If any of you catch me fooling with the articles for Listracanthus/Listracanthidae be sure to give me a slap on the wrist, I may have some pretty biased opinions on that taxon that are best shared elsewhere.

Pages I've significantly contributed to

[edit]
  • Ornithoprion (Complete rewrite and expansion, was formerly . Also provided illustrations.)
  • Dracopristis (Contributed to an expansion to help the article maintain its GA status. Original GAN and majority of the article's content by Fossiladder13)
  • Sarcoprion (Rewritten; currently on hold, awaiting a redescription of the taxon)
  • Parahelicoprion (Rewritten, with significant content expansion and additional sourcing. Former )

Pages I've created (Thank you to the users who have corrected/added to these)

Diagrams and life reconstructions

[edit]

I draw once in a while, and make an effort to contribute skeletal diagrams or life reconstructions for my preferred research subjects when possible. Some of my older life recons are very speculative/inaccurate and have no merit being used on the site.
