[edit]The term was brought up by fans of Lionel Messi and FC Barcelona and is mostly used in a negative light en vers Cristiano Ronaldo[2]. It was coined in his Real Madrid La Liga days. This is a part of the Ronaldo-Messi rivalry and a cause of greater tension between their fans and those of their clubs, which has led to mostly Ronaldo fans coining Pessi for Messi.
