The Big Drum Bonanza is a five-day music education camp hosted by drummer Thomas Lang. First hosted in 2012 in Thousand Oaks, California the event featured hands-on music education and performances from world-class drummers including Virgil Donati (Steve Vai/Planet X), Kenny Aronoff (John Mellencamp/Smashing Pumpkins), [[Jeff Hamilton]] (Michael Buble/Diana Krall), Chris Coleman (Prince/Chaka Khan) and Dave Elitch (The Mars Volta).
The second annual Big Drum Bonanza is hosted from July 3rd - 7th at Drum Channel studios in Oxnard, California. Featured performers at the 2013 event are drummers Virgil Donati, Stanton Moore (Galactic), George Kollias (Nile), Chris Coleman, Jon Dette and Dave Elitch.
