I am Professor of Chemistry at Trinity College, Hartford CT. I work in gas and liquid chromatography, mass spectrometery, ICP spectrometry. My recent research is in trace environmental pollutants, but I have also done work on antioxidants in chilies and herbs and low temperature applications of HPLC.
Since 2002 I have been developing course materials for the Reacting to the Past pedagogy. I have written three simulation games, Acid Rain in Europe, Evolution in Kansas, and The Council of Nicaea. The latter grows out of my personal interest and research in early Christian history.
