You may be looking for my contributions or my talk page.
Former alt of DontBanMeThanks, once GeorgeMemulous, and now Departure–. Sometimes I edit, and I try not to break the rules (if I do, feel free to tell me on my talk page). I'm a bit of a bold editor when I feel like it, and often help out at WP:ITNC and WP:DYK, as well as tending to whatever shows up in my watchlist. 4000 edits, as of 18:03, 29 January 2025 (UTC).
I consider myself a moderately competent, if BOLD and occasionally much too hasty editor. I've had daily edits since some time around February 2024, and am proud of that, but my editing varies severely week-to-week - some weeks, up to 50 edits a day, and others only 40 in a whole week. That may drop off significantly if this one guy does this one thing he says he doesn't know anything about, but I hope to leave Wikipedia an overall richer place than it was when I arrived as my main objective. One day I'll stop editing and maybe I'll come back, maybe I won't.
I'm constructive where I can be, and typically edit weather-space articles. My best work is Belvidere Apollo Theatre collapse, my first and only featured article. I hope to be able to quickly create meteorological synopses and infoboxes for ongoing tornado outbreaks when they do happen - if 2025 has a super outbreak, you'll likely see me within the first 50 edits cleaning up whatever needs cleaning up.
I'm not subject to any sanctions at the moment. I don't necessarily have much ambition to become an administrator someday, but I might for the purposes of better contributing to DYK and dealing with sockpuppetry if nothing else. That's a matter for the distant future, however. Anyone reading my future RfA if I make one should beware: I frequently vandalize pages, even when you don't see it. And the worst part is that I'll never be subject to sanctions or brought to AIV for it!

An image I uploaded of a new tropical storm in the Gulf on 5 October 2024 because the yearly list article lacked an image. In a year of records, it was beautiful to see nature acting in moderation.

DYK and QPQ

Did you know hooks and QPQs[edit]First line is a hook I've made, second line is my QPQ. means the article is promoted or has run on the main page, means it's awaiting promotion or approval. I haven't had any rejected DYK hooks yet.
