I started here in '94, hence the username Cdpl94 I happen to live in the USA.I have an interest is several topics within textile arts. From current to my ancient past: braiding/kumihomo, tatting, quilting, needlepoint, macrame, crochet, knitting, embroidery. Beyond textiles, I've had decades worth of interest and experience in editing... mostly newspapers, and special publications, like theses for grad students. Oh, yes, archaeology and the environment, tool. Most recently I have been correcting the Australian Library "TROVE" site articles -- the OCR pages that go with the scanned newspapers from throughout Australia. About 200,000 lines corrected so far. Occasionally I find pieces of literature by famous authors that are printed in the newspapers but are not listed among the works of that author here. Sometimes it is easy to add the new work, and sometimes its a chore to find where to place it in the author's page. Since each author may be treated differently, there is no universal approach.
