Once known as Musicaindustrial, I'm back at editing Wikipedia. I'm a MA clinical psychologist with a Jungian background, with an interest of late on the work of Wilhelm Reich. I was initially focusing on editing content relating to extreme metal, but nowadays I'm conducting a personal journey through the history of electric guitar, especially the 1970s (read: Fusion). My modus operandi is basically taking printed legacy media sources - especially music magazines, books and weeklies from (or about) the 1970s and 1980s and adding them here as sources. It's a way to preserve these "lost and forgotten" (non-digitalized) reputable sources.
Awards

My Work List
[edit]Bands & Solo Artists
[edit]- Al di Meola - Being a guitar player myself, I've been exploring the biography and playing styles of jazz rock guitarists lately - John McLaughlin, Jan Akkerman, Larry Coryell, etc. I'm fascinated by the transition from Blues rock to fusion to 1980s shred and neoclassical metal. How did it come to be? I'm starting to edit di Meola's article in this pursuit.
- Hellhammer
- Sarcófago - My third good article, reviewed by GARDEN . I'd like to thank Aryder779, Blackmetalbaz, Cannibaloki, Drmies and others for their input.
- Pungent Stench
Albums
[edit]- Inventions for Electric Guitar - Christian Wheeldon's fine biography on Manuel Göttsching got me going on this one.
- In the Shadow of the Sun - the Throbbing Gristle soundtrack to Derek Jarman's super-8 movie. Stopped the editing because there just aren't enough sources.
- At War with Satan - Venom's largely underrated third album. Currently listed as a C-class article.
- Celtic Frost's Into the Pandemonium - my current project.
- Did some solid work on Samael's Worship Him, but stopped due to a missing source - Decibel's "Hall of Fame" induction of the album in issue #118.
- Arise - Sepultura's finest death/thrash album. I'm pretty proud of helping this one reach a good article status, with the guidance of Efe.
- Chaos A.D. - Currently listed as a B-class article.
Music Styles
[edit]- Industrial metal - thanks to the valuable contributions of Aryder779 and the guidance of Daniel Case, this article has reached good status.
- Funeral doom - recreated the entire article from scratch, chock full of sources.
Movies
[edit]- Worked hard on the Beyond the Black Rainbow for a while. Currently a C-Class article.
