Wikipedia is...
a unique collection of information, something never done before done, in the history of humanity. A way for anyone, from a Cambridge University professor, to a music journalist, to a sports fan, to the man on the street, to provide their knowledge, skills, abilities and thoughts for free to everyone else to use. Of course, some people will add deliberate rubbish, and some accidental mistakes, and some will add informatative, beautiful and brilliant information, in the form of text, pictures and sound. It can be funny, annoying, odd or messy, but never dull. If someone makes a mistake, someone else can fix it.
It is also an amazing community, with helpful, insightful or wonderfully weird contributions from every walk of life across the globe. Someone, somewhere, will always understand what you mean, and what you are trying to do. They may even do it for you! Some people fail to understand this, and make insults, attacks, slurs and petty vandalism against someone they disagree with, but the ever-helpful community is always there with kind words and help.
