Elk Antennas is a company that creates Log Periodic Dipole Array (LPDA) antennas for mainly Amateur Radio Use. All models cover VHF and/or UHF bands. The business was started in 1995 by Pete Perata (K6SHE) and Ray Gaschk (AG6SI) in Walnut Creek, California.[1]
Products and Function
[edit]The antennas are designed to be resonant on an entire band, not just a single center frequency.[2] There are three types of antennas that the company creates: the 2M/440L5, the 220L6, and the 440L8.
