I created a Wikipedia editor’s account in 2023 to learn more about how the platform works and to have the opportunity to hone my research and non-fiction writing skills.

I am employed performing research support for playwright Richard France.

During my employment, he requested I make updates to his Wikipedia page because he found some of the information to be incorrect, outdated, or incomplete. After learning of the conflict of interest policy, I am following the instructions on this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:FAQ/Article_subjects to submit editing requests.

I was not hired specifically to edit his Wikipedia page, nor does providing these edits constitute a majority of my job responsibilities. However, my edits and contribution suggestions to his Wikipedia entry were performed during my paid hours of employment.
