Caralee McLiesh
[edit]Dr Caralee McLiesh PSM is the attorney-general for the Commonwealth of Australia. The office of Auditor-General is a ten year statutory appointment made by the Governor-General on the advice of the Prime Minister. Caralee's appointment come after her 5 year statutory contract as Chief Executive and Secretary to the New Zealand Treasury.[1]
Caralee's formal qualifictations include a a PhD in Finance from the University of Melbourne and Bachelor of Economics (1st Class Honours) from the Australian National University. She is a fellow of Certified Practising Accountants (FCPA).[2]
