Personal background [ edit ]
I do not recall how or when it was that I first learned of Wikipedia , only that I became an immediate fan upon doing so. Strangely enough, it was my curiosity about the name of a houseplant that originally prompted me to create a user account and begin making contributions. I could scarcely have imagined such an opportunity when I became acquainted with this new-fangled thing called "The World Wide Web " during my freshman year of college . So much has happened since then, and I sincerely hope there are a couple of things worth sharing in all that I have learned during that time. — Apo-kalypso (talk ) 12:10, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
