Uffrainkhal
Uffrainkhal,[1] also spelled Ufrainkhal, is a small hill town located in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, India. Known for its tranquil ambiance and panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges, it is a hidden gem in the Garhwal region, attracting nature enthusiasts and seekers of solitude.
Geography
[edit]Uffrainkhal[2] is situated at an elevation of approximately 1,700 meters (5,577 feet) above sea level. The town is surrounded by dense forests of oak, pine, and rhododendron, offering a lush green landscape throughout the year. It lies roughly 90 kilometers from Pauri, the district headquarters, and about 70 kilometers from Kotdwar, the nearest railhead.
Climate

- Summers (March to June): Temperatures range from 15°C to 30°C, providing a pleasant retreat from the heat of the plains.
