Udne Ki Aasha is an Indian Hindi-language television family drama series that premiered on 12 March 2024 on Star Plus.[2][3] It streams on Disney+ Hotstar and is produced by Rolling Tales Productions. The series stars Neha Harsora and Kanwar Dhillon in the lead roles.[4][5] It is a Hindi adaptation of Star Vijay Tamil series Siragadikka Aasai.[6]
Premise
[edit]Set against a Marathi backdrop, the show revolves around the lives of Sachin and Sayali, exploring the complexities of their relationship and the dynamics of their evolving equations. It portrays the wife's struggle as she faces a roadblock in the form of a resistant husband and her efforts to inspire change for the betterment of both their future and the family's progress.[7]

Production

[edit]The concept of Udne Ki Aasha was developed in December 2023 and the first promo was released in February 2024.[8]
Casting
[edit]In January 2024, Neha Harsora was decided to play the role of female lead,[9][10] while Kanwar Dhillon was cast opposite Harsora as the male lead.[11][12]
Ratings
[edit]The show entered the list of top 5 most rated shows of BARC in it's opening week.[13] In week 47, it was one of the top 3 shows.[14]
