Production
[edit]The film's title is based off of the song of the same name from Amruthavarshini (1997).[3] The film began production in December 2011.[4] Ramesh Aravind and Anu Prabhakar, who have paired together in several films, play the role of a mature couple, which is a contrast to their earlier films together.[5] Ramesh Aravind went clean shaven for his character in the film.[3] Rishika Singh plays a national level swimmer and Ramesh Aravind's brother while Anil plays her love interest.[4][3] This was the third film that Rishika Singh signed and she only accepted the film due to the length of her role.[4][2] A portion of the film was shot in the rain.[3] As of March 2012, one shooting schedule had been completed.[3] As of May 2012, the film's shooting was complete except for the songs and the climax scene.[5][6] As of November 2012, the film's shooting was complete.[7]
Soundtrack
[edit]The music is composed by Sridhar Sambhram.[5]
