Tripura Electricity Regulatory Commission (TERC)[3] is a governing body to control certain regulatory and safety functions related to the power sector in the state of Tripura, India. It was incorporated under the Electricity Regulatory Commission Act, 1998.[4]

Functions

  • To facilitate intra-State transmission and wheeling of electricity.
  • Promote generation of electricity from renewable sources of energy.
  • To regulate tariffs of power generation, wholesale, transmission and supply in Tripura.
