Numbers
[edit]Someone had Alex Gordon and Angel Berroa both wearing #4, which is impossibleDshibshm (talk) 20:29, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
That's my fault. I didn't realize that Gordon took #4 in the offseason. -Street20 21:32, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Billy Butler
[edit]HERE ON WIKI, it lists him on his page as a DH.Dshibshm (talk) 04:45, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- The roster templates are to match the official rosters as shown on MLB.com... unless there is a 100% without-a-doubt reason to make the move... by only using another wiki page as a source - you have not provided enough reason to make this change.JustSomeRandomGuy32 (talk) 05:01, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
Brandon Duckworth
[edit]FYI, Dick Kaegel's article on mlb.com says Duckworth has been (as opposed to will be) invited to Spring Training; that is why I made the edit I did. Billy Butler
[edit]On his page on Wiki, he is listed as a DH, so why not do that with the roster as well? I will change it.-DANO- (talk) 18:03, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- On the Royals official roster, he's listed as an infielder. I'd go with the teams official website before I'd go with any wiki.--Fabrictramp (talk) 18:25, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Jai Miller
[edit]Jai Miller has been called up from Omaha with Brian Bannister going on the DL. I can't find his number, though. Does anybody know? Kansan (talk) 04:22, 18 August 2010 (UTC)
Holland as closer
[edit]@MainPeanut: - I'm going to be moving Holland from the closer line to the rest of the pitchers, per WP:BRD. Given that the Royals don't exactly have a guy getting all the saves right now, and this MLB.com article from today is referring to how the Royals don't have a set traditional closer, I don't think listing Holland as the closer is really the best way to classify that situation. Hog Farm Talk 19:12, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
Yea I see that Barlow, Davis, Hahn, and Zimmer all have one as well as Holland. Ok. MainPeanut (talk) 19:22, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
- And (spoiler) - Staumont just got one today. So six different pitchers with saves in 12 wins, which I guess is the definition of closer by committee. Hog Farm Talk 19:37, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
- They have 12 wins? Wow, (I'm living under a rock, I guess) maybe signing all the pitchers they had when they were good helped. (Minor, Holland, Davis). MainPeanut (talk) 19:43, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
