Switch to another source
[edit]Statcounter is counting "prerender" visits and not unique users, please switch the source! 78.35.215.214 (talk) 12:00, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
As of May 1, 2012, Statcounter no longer counts prerender visits: http://gs.statcounter.com/faq#prerendering Mbrubeck (talk) 14:35, 1 June 2012 (UTC)
I need help updating the template!
[edit]You know, almost a month has passed since the template was last updated on February 2014, and yet it STILL hasn't updated to March 2014! April is almost over, and I wanted to update the template to March 2014, but I don't know how to do it! Please help me! --Angeldeb82 (talk) 22:25, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reminder. Updated. To update, I just download the CSV file from the linked page, sort by Firefox version, and group together rows that are the same major version, or for "rapid release" versions, split them into groups separated by "ESR" releases (which correspond to approximately one year of releases).Mbrubeck (talk) 23:33, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
- I see it now. I'm learning how to do it. Thank you. --Angeldeb82 (talk) 01:41, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
Statcounter missing Firefox 2.0?
[edit]Well, I followed your advice, downloaded the CSV file and sorted the Firefox browser version by grouping them together, but now Firefox 2.0 is nowhere to be found! Did StatCounter stop using Firefox 2.0? --Angeldeb82 (talk) 16:04, 1 July 2014 (UTC)
- I think StatCounter leaves out any browser that is below 0.01% after rounding. Firefox 1 was already dropped from their stats several months ago. I think we can just remove Firefox 2 from the template.Mbrubeck (talk) 18:41, 1 July 2014 (UTC)
- I see. Thanks again. --Angeldeb82 (talk) 22:53, 1 July 2014 (UTC)

StatCounter missing Firefox 33.0?
[edit]When I downloaded the CSV file and sorted Firefox version by grouping them together, not only is Firefox 2.0 missing, but Firefox 33 seems to have vanished as well. Did StatCounter make a mistake? Maybe it seems that Firefox 33 hasn't been used yet. --Angeldeb82 (talk) 16:13, 2 September 2014 (UTC)
- Weird. Definitely seems like a bug in the StatCounter data. Mbrubeck (talk) 17:32, 2 September 2014 (UTC)
- Well, I just hope they fix the StatCounter bug soon. --Angeldeb82 (talk) 17:51, 2 September 2014 (UTC)
Doesn't sum up to "all variants" value for neither column
[edit]Left column is 3,78 less than 100% and the right one is 0,19 less than 5.01%. Someone above has mentioned rounding errors, but there are only 16 data rows and 16*0,009 is still 0,144 at most (still less than 0,19). I don't know what to think about it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.77.43.56 (talk) 08:30, 19 October 2018 (UTC)
