I think it's not fair to exclude the elite omnium events before 2010. I know there was not a European elite Championship, but the elite women's event was held during the European "U23" championships. The winners are official European Omnium Champion inclucing a blue jersey. As example I take the year 2008. See the website of the UCI (UCI website: 2008 omnium session for Women's), and cyclingarchives (cyclingarchives: omnium for Women's). Because of that you won't find the 2008 omnium results on the uec-federation.eu between the U23 events (2008 U23 events) Sander.v.Ginkel (talk) 17:12, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
