Overall: Good to go. Regards, KCVelaga☚╣✉╠☛ 12:22, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
Long enough, hook is interesting and sourced. No close paraphrasing or neutrality detected. Passed GAN a week ago. QPQ done. I think the word 'appointed' is preferable that the word 'brought' and reconsidering the arrangement of words and other wording which makes the hook; ... that an officer appointed to investigate Vultee Vengeance accidents at No. 75 Wing RAAF, got crash-landed himself while in a Vengeance when he left?. Besides that everything seems fine. Regards, KCVelaga☚╣✉╠☛ 15:14, 21 July 2016 (UTC)
Actually I hadn't got round to the QPQ but have now. I definitely agree "appointed" but one doesn't "get" crash-landed so I don't think we should use that. The "himself" was to highlight the irony but I guess we can lose it if it reads oddly. See how the new version looks... Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 16:35, 21 July 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for considering the word 'appointed' instead of 'brought'. Initially while reading the hook I had some sort of confusion, which is common to any general reader who don't that Vultee Vengeance is the name of an aircraft. The clause crash-landed in a Vengeance on his return? is also somewhat confusing. in a Vengeance is the issue, generally the word Vengeance gives the meaning of punishment or revenge. Please reword that i.e something like clarify the it is about an aircraft or something like that. Apart from that everything is good. Regards, KCVelaga☚╣✉╠☛ 12:14, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
Done. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 12:23, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for rewording and eliminating the confusion. GTG. Regards, KCVelaga☚╣✉╠☛ 12:22, 23 July 2016 (UTC)
