List of Ramsar Convention contracting parties
[edit]- ... that with the addition of Bhutan, Grenada, and Andorra in 2012, the Ramsar Convention has 163 contracting countries with 2,065 wetlands of international importance?

- The rules regarding lists only count the text, not the list itself; thus this is well under the 1500 character minimum. Can you expand the lead? Also, the hook needs shortening to fit the 200 character limit. Espresso Addict (talk) 02:50, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
- I've shortened the hook and could expand the lead. But I think it would be more appropriate if I expanded the article on the Ramsar Convention and had this as a two article DYK. Fredlyfish4 (talk) 02:57, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
- Drop me a note when you're done (and which article(s) you want considered) and I'll review. Espresso Addict (talk) 04:04, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
- Date and length check out. Hook is short enough and all parts of hook are supported by online references. I have removed the credits for Ramsar convention as that article has not been expanded. The editor appears to be a newcomer to DYK, so there is no review requirement. Looks good to go. Espresso Addict (talk) 23:18, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
