 Editing access from your school or corporate network has been disabled (blocked) for an extended period at the request of your system administrators. This is likely due to a history of vandalism coming from the IP address from which you are trying to edit.
If you would like to make constructive contributions to our site, we would ask that you please request an account or create one at home. Once your account is created, you should be able to log in here and use it to edit. There are many other benefits to creating an account as well. Should you have any questions concerning the block, please contact the blocking administrator, or add the text {{unblock|Your question}} to your user talk page. The blocking administrator should have the email requesting the block on file. Should you wish to have this block removed, please contact your system administrators and ask them to submit a request for unblock to the Unblock Ticket Request System with an email address registered to your school or company. |

This template should only be used to block an IP address under one circumstance: a system administrator or other ranking technical officer from a school or business has requested that their IP address be blocked to prevent abuse from their network, and the identity of that person has been verified. Generally, this is done by an email sent to an administrator or the Functionaries-en mailing list (functionaries-en
lists.wikimedia.org) or OTRS (info-enwikimedia.org) from an address issued by the technical officer's school or business. Requests of this nature made on-wiki should not be honored, as it is not possible to verify the technical officer's identity on this website.
IP addresses blocked in this manner may be blocked indefinitely, and should be set to affect anonymous editing only and disable account creation.
