BeanieFan11 and @Crisco 1492: Tech Times is unreliable per this discussion. Are there any other sources supporting the hook's claim? If not, I might have to reject this nom. 💽 LunaEclipse 💽 🌹 ⚧ (CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST) 14:21, 14 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure if I'm allowed to suggest alt hooks, but may I also suggest …that at 1.5 billion pixels in size, Zooming in on the Andromeda Galaxy (pictured) is the largest image ever released by the Hubble Space Telescope? SirMemeGod12:04, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Which side?

[edit]

The article currently states: "The image depicts the left-most side of the Andromeda Galaxy's galactic disc . . ." However, the image seems to show the right side of the disc. In case the image was telescopically reversed, the article goes on to note that the nucleus of the galaxy is shown in the left side of the image, implying that the image is not reversed. Shouldn't the text say the right side? A correction or explanation is needed. Minturn (talk) 16:36, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, I see where I went wrong. It is the right side of the Galaxy, it's just that "left side of the image" (referring to the nucleus) is mentioned by both sources. I was probably tired when writing it. :) EF5 16:49, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

List of largest photographs

[edit]

Maybe add this article to List of largest photographs (I've left a note there as well). Randy Kryn (talk) 16:46, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
