Aesop section

[edit]

From the reference it seems that AESOP only had one arm with the camera. Zeus addition was to have the other two arms for operating. The text in the AESOP section indicates that AESOP has 3 arms "The voice activation of the AESOP allows the surgeon to use this third arm of the robot while still holding on to the controls for the other two arms" --Pbrandao (talk) 10:28, 24 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I see your point. I've just changed the wording to clarify that AESOP is just one arm of the three-armed ZEUS system. Michaelmas1957 (talk) 10:37, 24 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Operations in 2005

[edit]

According to the article: "Han-Xin Zhou, Yue-Hua Guo, Xiao-Fang Yu, Shi-Yun Bao, Jia-Lin Liu, Yue Zhang, Yong-Gong Ren, and Qun Zheng, Clinical characteristics of remote Zeus robot-assisted laparoscopic cholecystectomy: A report of 40 cases", 40 operations were carried out between May 2004 and July 2005. This page, however, claims that the ZEUS system was discontinued in 2003.
