Rank in the IDF
[edit]While there seem to be sources indicating that Yahav was indeed a military policeman, there's absolutely no evidence that he was a lieutenant colonel. I have reviewed the historical commanders of all MP battalion-level units (the only units led by this rank), and Yahav doesn't appear anywhere. Did he have a different name in the past, or is the statement wrong? -- Ynhockey (Talk) 19:03, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- Apparenly he did reach this rank, and it's likely that he did so in the reserves, because he did not command any regular battalion-level units. I will try to get this point further clarified, although for now I inserted a citation about the rank. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 13:13, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
