Snow Covered Statue
[edit]The article includes a statue of Sverdlov in Yekaterinburg (probably when it was called Sverdlovsk). Does any one know if has been removed? Or is it still there? Dr. Dan (talk) 22:53, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- A Google map might show what is going on with the statue. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.54.202.250 (talk) 09:40, 12 September 2017 (UTC)

Sources
[edit]This article relies rather heavily on the writings of one author, Yuri Slezkine, or Russian language sources. As one of Slezkine's works is "The Jewish Century" some people might feel cautious about relying on this author. PatGallacher (talk) 22:43, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
Spelling?
[edit]The caption in the infobox says "Я́ков Свердло́в" but the spelling in the lede paragraph is "Яков … Свердлов". These should be consistent. Which is most correct? 108.2.150.109 (talk) 14:37, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
- Russian Wikipedia does almost the same thing, and if it's good enough for them, it ought to be good enough for us too. 108.2.150.109 (talk) 16:58, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
