A Note on Player Identification and Changes of Name
[edit]The well-performed South African bowler formerly known as Lorna Trigwell is now known as Lorna Smith and playing in Scotland.
To avoid ambiguity as to player identity I suggest following the bowls title-aggregation site Bowls Tawa whose policy is to refer to players by their current name only. Actually players are referenced by their BowlsHQ player_id (which in the case of Lorna Smith is 2421. So her name may change but her player_id does not. Xtie (talk) 21:53, 14 April 2012 (UTC)
