Would it be possible to explain in this article in what situations one would need to use Zero-width non-breaking space? To prevent hyphenation? Or would it prevent breaking web addresses near "/" signs? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.0.84.104 (talk) 09:55, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
- When your text contains expressions like "50 km/h", you can prevent an (unlikely but possible) undesired line break before or after the slash character by adding the ZWNBSP or the Word Joiner before and after the slash. 91.118.141.222 (talk) 14:01, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
