Hi, I work at Wellcome and so didn't want to edit the page, however, I've noticed that it could probably do with updating. I guess the most obvious thing is Wellcome Images - as of October 2017 the images themselves have been migrated to a new platform and are available at wellcomecollection.org/works and all images (both digitised surrogates of our own collections and digital third party images contributed to the collection) are all available under a range of Creative Commons licenses. The Wellcome Images website has been closed. The history of the library could probably also be improved, some info here: https://stacks.wellcomecollection.org/building-a-free-and-unrestricted-digital-museum-and-library-6cdf28784068 if that helps.
It looks like this institution might be in London, but it occurs to me that others may also find rhis confusing. For those who created this excellent page, the Wellcome is likely a place so familiar that geographic location is assumed. For those of us unlikely ever to visit jolly olde England, a mention might be in order. Embarassing as it seems, I've only recently learned of the Tate (and until this minute, I had spelled it "Tait"). I didn't read the article meticulously, but I would think location might belong in the lede. Just sayin' rags (talk) 03:33, 28 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
