[edit]

The most recent version of this article was reinstated by an IP that is probably evading a block. Normally that would be grounds for reverting the contribution. In this case, however, given that the subject does appear to be notable, and the topic is totally unrelated to the original cause for the socking and block (which was promotionalism connected to an unrelated subject), I think that reverting the article would be cutting off our nose to spite our face. signed, Rosguill talk 20:40, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Rosguill: I only just found this message and didn't notice it when I made my revert back to a redirect. Given your points and the relatively solid sourcing, I've put the article back. Graham87 15:54, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Adding info

[edit]

I'm adding some info and photos. I'm no expert on this subject, not even close, just an Australian who visited a friends family here for a few days - my friends dad took me to the Nabongo Cultural Centre and shrine and I was surprised to find so little information on Wikipedia about this interesting place and it's history. Please correct me if I've gotten anything wrong. Bacondrum (talk) 22:33, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

View to expand pre-colonial history

[edit]

Some excellent sources that we can use to expand this article:

So I’ve tried to rework recent additions into something usable. There’s a problem with some of the sourcing, in that there’s varying histories and some sources contradict themselves and others. There appears to be some over lap between early a Buganda history and Wanga history. The pre history (pre buganda) stuff is a bit sketchy and I don’t know if it should be included at all?
