Footnote (or lack thereof)

Added information about W. J. Ghent's death and tried to footnote it without sucess. The citation shows as a <ref> but it doesn't show as a footnote. What am I doing wrong? Wiki's documentation is excellent... but way too excellent to find a concise explanation of how to do this. TheRealStang (talk) 23:33, 30 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
